POSITION SUMMARY

Manage day to day operations of the warehouse to efficiently utilize space, implement new technology, and streamline processes to meet goals. This role will work directly with the Warehouse Manager in overseeing inventory management, distribution, transportation, and other processes that support product delivery and customer satisfaction. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies
• Coordinate order fulfillment process with the warehouse team and ensure daily shipment quotas are met
• Lead budget management and negotiate rates with shipping and software vendors
• Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to identify and address operational bottlenecks
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on designing and allocating floor space for uninterrupted flow
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all operations
• Managing & implement processes & systems
• Developing efficient systems for movement, storage, and inventory management  
• Communication with production team regarding arrivals
• Managing logistics - including inventory control
• Maintain databases through Shopify, Apparel Magic, and ShipStation management
• Coordinating shipping schedules
• Ensure accuracy, safety, and performance of warehouse functions
• Aligning with upper management on business strategies & expectations 
• Establish and maintain best practices for daily operations 
• Constantly researching best practices and logistics technology to improve efficiencies & improve cost + delivery time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations including inventory control and supply chain management
• Experience in fulfillment technologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and performance metrics
• Strong attention to detail, organization and leadership skills
• Understanding of costing & benefits with outside vendors
• Previous experience managing a warehouse team
• Experience in high-volume apparel industry preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit, stand and lift up to 50LBS

This is a full-time + in office position based in Carpinteria, CA. Candidates must be local to the area.
